Please complete this form to share your area of interest and level of commitment. The committee is organized into sub-committees that focus on logistics, programming, vendors, and activations. Indicate which sub-committee(s) you’d like to join and your level of commitment.

The All-Kwanzaa Committee meets weekly on Sunday evenings at 5:30 PM starting September 7th for 15–30 minutes. A representative from each sub-committee will provide updates so we remain aligned and on track as we prepare for the celebration.

Sub-Committee Interest (Please select up to two committees you are interested in joining.)

Logistics Committee – Oversee contracts, setup/breakdown, security, and equipment rental. Create master run-of-show and coordinate with stage manager.

Zawadi Committee – Source, collect, and organize donations for youth and elder Zawadi bags

Activations Committee – Coordinate and oversee interactive stations—such as Wellness, Watoto (youth), Mommy Moon, and Agba (elder) stations.

Marketplace Committee– Recruit and confirm Black businesses.

Programming & Artist Management Committee– Curate artist lineup. Manage artist contracts, schedules, and AV riders.

Elder Procession Committee - Recruit elders, coordinate rehearsals, attire, seating and hospitality, and organize the procession order.
